Lisa Nickel

PRESIDENT

Visionary in Land Development

With an impressive track record spanning over two decades, Lisa Nickel is a seasoned professional in the field of land development. Her expertise is marked by her pivotal roles in large-scale master-planned communities within the Greater Houston area.

 

Before establishing Genesis in 2011, Lisa served as Vice President for Hillwood Communities, a Perot company headquartered in Dallas, Texas. In this capacity, she spearheaded projects in the Houston area, overseeing the development of Sienna South, a sprawling 3,800-acre property in Missouri City, Fort Bend County, and the 468-acre Rocky Creek community in Austin, Texas.

 

Lisa's career also includes a significant stint as Vice President of Operations for Newland Communities, the largest private developer of planned residential and urban mixed-use communities in the United States. Over nine years, Lisa played a crucial role in the development of notable communities, including Cinco Southwest, Seven Meadows, Grayson Lakes, and Summerwood.

Lisa’s leadership, expertise, and commitment to excellence have left an indelible mark on the landscape of land development. She brings a wealth of knowledge to the helm of Genesis Collaborative.
